Understanding Our Sales Policy
All sales are final, and we do not offer refunds. However, we absolutely want you to receive your furniture in perfect condition. We’re here to help with exchanges for any damaged or defective merchandise according to the guidelines below.
Store Pickup
Please Inspect Before You Leave
We ask that you carefully inspect all merchandise at the time of pickup while you’re still at our store. This gives us the opportunity to address any concerns immediately.
What qualifies for exchange: Defects and damaged merchandise identified during your inspection at pickup can be replaced or re-ordered.
Please note: Once you’ve left our location, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges, so taking a few minutes to inspect your items helps protect your purchase.
In-Home Delivery Service
This applies to: Furniture, Oversized Mirrors, Oversized Wall Decor, and Custom Orders
What to Do When Your Delivery Arrives
We know you’re excited to get your new pieces set up! Before the delivery team leaves, please take a moment to:
- Check each item carefully while the delivery driver is still present—look for any defects or damage.
- Let the driver know immediately if you spot any issues. Reporting problems on the spot helps us resolve them quickly.
- Take photos of any damaged items from multiple angles and email them to support@modelhomeaccents.com as soon as you can.
- Keep all packaging materials including boxes, packing materials, and your packing slip. We’ll need these for the return process.
How We Handle Replacements
We want to make this process as easy as possible for you. Here’s what happens next:
- We’ll review the photos you send us
- We’ll work with our supplier to document the issue and request a replacement
- Once your replacement arrives at our warehouse, we’ll schedule a redelivery to your home at no additional charge to you
A Few Important Details
- Delivery fees: The original delivery and handling charges are non-refundable, but we’ll cover the cost of redelivering your replacement items.
- Return shipping: Please pack items carefully for return. Unfortunately, we cannot replace items that are damaged during the return trip to our warehouse, so secure packaging is important.
- Replacements, not refunds: We exchange damaged or defective items rather than offering refunds, ensuring you get the beautiful pieces you originally selected.
